‘Bananas‘ is one of Kasper Købke’s morning drawings – that is, one of the drawings that Købke often spends his first waking hour on.
A single hour to start the day in the very best way, with pencil in hand in front of the drawing paper – a podcast or audiobook plays in the background, and the fragrant steam of the coffee finds its way to the nose. Quite simply, a perfect break before the day’s work and chores knock on the door.

The primary purpose of the morning drawings is to start the day in the best way, by creating mental peace for Købke with a drawing where the pencil has free play – no rules, no boundaries – just relaxation.
