‘Sønder Boulevard Copenhagen’ is Kasper Købke’s hyper-realistic artwork of the popular Copenhagen street of the same name.

The artwork depicts the well-known Copenhagen street Sønder Boulevard.

The street is located in Vesterbro, which is one of Copenhagen’s most popular districts and where many Danish artists live and work.

The work is the first of several works in the series ‘Clean City’.

The series is inspired by a campaign of the same name, which aims to focus on keeping the city clean, i.a. via various waste sculptures.

If you look more closely at the artwork, you will thus be able to find a sculpture of a pizza box. The original artwork measures 130 x 90 cm.
