‘Artist in Front’ is a picture by photographer Adam Sund, taken just before Kasper Købke is about to apply the last layer of varnish to his large artwork of ‘Nørrebrogade, Cph’ – an artwork that took Købke approx. 300 hours to complete.

The picture shows the artwork’s large dimensions of 300 x 244 cm – and it shows that, as a viewer of this artwork, you will really feel that you are standing in the middle of Queen Louise’s bridge in Copenhagen and looking down the famous Nørrebrogade.
